Inerary:

Day 01: Arrive at Paro Airport (7,000ft) where the representative will receive you and drive to the hotel.

Day 02: Day of rest and acclimatization. Sightseeing includes visit to the National Library, Memorial Chorten, Zelukha Nunnery and Handicraft Emporium.

Day 03: The drive to Tashithang takes five hours and passes over Dochula Pass where one gets a panoramic view of the Himalayas. Drive to Punakha and visit Punakha Dzong. Drive to Tashithang. Overnight in camp.

Day 04: The first day’s trail goes through the high agriculture benches above the Mo Chu (Mo Chu means female river) into a lush semi-tropical gorge filled with banana trees. Overnight in camp. Altitude. 7,480ft / 2,280m. Distance - 15 Kms.

Day 05: The trail runs through the villages, fields, oak and pine forests. Overnight in camp. Altitude.7,710 ft / 2,350m. Distance 15 Kms.

Day 06: Visit the Gasa Hot Spring (Tshachu). Relax. In the forests near the Hot Spring, one can see the Takin, Bhutan’s national animal, as well as many other species of birds and animals. Overnight in camp.

Day 07: After short climb from Gasa hot spring the trail winds through hillsides and villages. Overnight in camp at Geon Damji.

Day 08: The trail descends from the high agriculture benches above the river into a lush semi-tropical gorge filled with banana trees, creepers Your transportation will be there to receive you at Trashithang. Drive to Wangdue. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 09: Visit Wangdue town. Drive to Punakha and view the unique Punakha Dzong. The Drive to Paro takes about 4 hours via Dochula pass.

Day 10: In the morning, visit the Drugyel Dzong. On a clear day one can get glimpse of Mount Chhomolhari - Mountain of Goddess (24,000ft). Visit Ta Dzong, the watchtower that houses the National Museum and see also a traditional wooden bridge. Evening stroll around Paro town.

Day 11: Early morning drive to Paro Airport for departure.
