shivapuri botanical trek

This trek is to commence at Budhanilkantha with the purpose to be amazed with pleasant views of the central and eastern mountain ranges, heavenly views of sunrise and sunset and is good introduction to Nepalese rural life. The end point of the trek appears with two options either at Nagarkot or Dhulikhel and Namobuddha. Nagarkot, (2175m) is by far one of the most popular destination. In the clear weather the Himalaya range, stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west all the way past Everest to Kanchenjunga in the east, emerges from the darkness to greet the happy visitor with its awe inspiring majesty and beauty. Namobuddha is one of the holiest sites for Buddhist in Nepal. It is believed the ancients Buddha was born here as prince. . It is an excellent trip for those who wish to avoid a long strenuous trek or only have time for a short and easy trek.

Itinery:
Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu airport, transfer to the selected hotel. Altitude 1300m.
Day 02: Sightseeing around Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Drive to Budhanilkantha and trek to Shivapuri Hill. Altitude 2563m/4-hrs walking.
Day 04: Trek to Chisapani. Altitude 2194m/5-hrs walking.
Day 05: Trek to Nagarkot. Altitude 2175m/6-hrs walking.
Day 06: Trek to Dhulikhel. Altitude 1440m/6-hrs walking.
Day 07: Trek to Namobuddha and drive to Kathmandu. Altitude 1750m/5-hrs walking.
Day 08: Rest day at Kathmandu, evening join the farewell dinner.
