Gale Goun Culture Trek
The
village Ghalegaun is at elevation of (2095m) from sea level and Ghanpokhara at (2160m) is located in Lamjung district, foot hill of
Annapurna range Ghalegaun is approximately 2010 km North West of Kathmandu and
120 km north east of Pokhara. The Ghale Gaun Perched atop a ridge at an
altitude of 2016 meters from the sea level, it is a wonderful
destination for Home Stay trek in Nepal. The
route offers wonderful panoramic views of Mt. Hiunchuli, Mt, Manaslu, Annapurna South, Fishtail Mountain, Lamjung Himal etc.
The tour gives you the chances to explore the real village’s life. The
friendly and hearty behaviors of the family members gives you a different
experience that you have never enjoyed before. The accommodation will be
at local home. You will be observing the real Nepalese cultural tradition
from the closest quarter and intermingle with the locals. Besides that,
the Ghale Gaun is a famous place for Honey hunting, handmade handicrafts.

Itinerary:
Day 01: Kathmandu
to Ghalegaun
After breakfast meeting at 07.30am around 08.00 am departure by bus on
the way stop half an hour for lunch and continue drive to Besishahar and
an hour explore Besishahar. Further drive to Baglungpani by jeep and
approximately an hour walk to Galegaun. Welcome by villagers, after being
refresh explore the Ghalegoun. Evening dinner at house with local family
after dinner cultural program arrange by local mother group. Stay
overnight at house.
Day 02: Ghalegoun.
Early morning wake up and walk up to view point for sunrise &
Mountain View and back to home for breakfast, after that proceed to hike
towards Ghanapokhara village on the way we can visit a beautiful
monastery. The Ghanapokhara is a second biggest Gurung village. This
afternoon we will have lunch in Ghanapokhara. After lunch visit to school
interact with student &local people, back to Ghalegoun dinner with
family at local house.
Day 03: Ghalegoun to Kathmandu
Today, after breakfast participate in farewell program and we walk all the
way down to Bensishahar. We will have Lunch in Bensishahar and drive back
